eraclitus (panta rhei) in Plato’s Cratylus
Mutability is at the core of Tracy Hill’s practice. From a pale floor strewn with powdered fragments of
crow-black charcoal, remnants of the artist’s labour, the eye is drawn up and across the gallery wall from which a vast and dynamic grayscale mural, vibrating with motes of carbon dust, threatens to engulf the viewer.
