Ephemeral Bodies @Hypha Gallery
In November 2025 I was invited to join Ground Collective as part of Messages from a Silent River showing in London with Hypha Gallery, 1 Poultry.
This is a multi-disciplinary exhibition inspired by the lost course of the Walbrook River – once an open waterway in Roman London and now a silent presence beneath The City. The theme provides a lens for the artists of Ground Collective to explore a range of ideas, from the city’s forgotten past to the urgent realities of the global climate crisis. Weaving together sculpture, painting, installation, printmaking and video, the exhibition is informed by walks taken in the area with artist and mudlarker Mark Sowden.
Energies surround all human and non-human bodies as they move through the landscape.
Printed installation, Flux and a new presentation of Ephemeral Bodies is an invitation to consider the search for what is beyond the visible.
Responding directly to the unseen subterranean springs and rivers running silently beneath our feet these works visualise the unheard resonances created as water flows through and over rock.
